If your release is 'Need Docs' it means there is something wrong with your release, or Soundmera is seeking confirmation from the artist. You can see it on the View Release page with the reason we included, you can send the correction/confirmation by contacting our support via the Support menu or email [email protected]
Here are some general mistakes you might make:
Audio Problem
Our standard audio specs are: WAV (.wav) / PCM codec / 16-bit or 24-bit / 44.1 kHz / Stereo. We can also accept WAV (.wav) or FLAC (.flac) format. To fix it Re-export the file from the mastering program or audio conversion tool. Check the export settings and confirm you’re exporting as .wav or .flac with following the right codec.
Cover Art Problem
Make sure you upload .jpeg format of cover art with 3000x3000px resolution. To fix it Re-export and send us the new file of your cover art to our email.Documentation Proof
We will scan all releases that come to us, make sure you have permission if you upload using someone else's song material. To fix it Send us your proof or permission of using other artists sample/beats/instrument to our email.
